Rhonda's first day as a new volunteer was Saturday. Here is what she wrote to tell Audine: "I had fun today with Brittany and my new furry sweethearts!!! I can hope I can make it tomorrow ... it made me happy to see the animals seem happy despite they don't have forever homes yet. When I was outside with them, it was like it was a real backyard. I had so much fun with them, I am still thinking about them.
I don't see how ya'lls heart can handle it all! And, Ms. Brittany is an awesome person to have working with the animals ... she's amazing with them and I could tell how much she loves all the animals."
We love our volunteers and hope to get more new ones every month. Our volunteers allow our furry friends a chance to get out and play one on one and have contact with people more often. There are two reasons behind this. 1.) it allows the dogs to "be happy" as Rhonda described. 2.) It helps with the transition of our animals to their forever families.
